Some of the world’s best DJs are about to land in Barcelona. That’s right: Barcelona Beach Festival is just around the corner, so today we will tell you some things to do in Barcelona to make the most of this weekend.

David Guetta, Avicii or Steve Angelo are some of the stars that will be performing next Saturday 26th July at Barcelona Beach Festival, from 18pm until 6am next morning. That is 12 hours of the best electronic music nonstop. And David Guetta, Avicii and Steve Angelo together at the same stage for the very first time!

But, what things can you do in Barcelona before and after the festival? Here are our tips.

Before the festival: getting ready

Friday night is a good time to start preparing for Barcelona Beach Festival. There are many clubs near the area where you will enjoy the best electronic music very close to the beach, such as Opium, Catwalk, Shôko or Macarena.

If you prefer a more relaxing plan to save your energy for the festival, you can just go for a stroll around Barceloneta or Sant Sebastià beaches at the evening, with its many drink stalls and nice environment. Another good idea is a nice ‘tapas’ dinner around Barceloneta and Born. You will find hundreds of bars that serve good wines and delicious food.

On Saturday, what about preparing for the event with a delicious vermouth in one of the best bars in Barcelona. We told you about some recommendations a few weeks ago on this blog post.

After the festival: relax and recover

After a good ‘night’ sleep at Twentytú (we are pretty close to the concert area!), the best way to recover from the 12 hours party is a dip in the sea. Why not go to one of the beaches we recommended a while ago?

You see, there are a lot of things to do during Barcelona Beach Festival. Are you in?
