Family rooms to share moments
Our hostel has family rooms for up to 5 members, all with a bathroom and, separately, a private shower. Although the largest room can accommodate up to 4 people, we have extra beds and cots to make your stay more comfortable and to gather the whole family in one space, which is very comfortable especially if you have young children.
Our family rooms have many advantages that can help you during stay in the city: free lockers, natural light, modern furniture and great amplitude so that you all have your space. In addition, we have rooms for people with reduced mobility.
Twentytú is located just few minutes away from many points of interest for families. It’s very close to the Sagrada Familia, the Zoo, supermarkets, the newly renovated shopping centre les Glòries, etc. In addition, only 20 minutes by foot you’ll find the beach that can be enjoyed all year long thanks to the pleasant climate of the city.
And if you need to travel by subway to some farther place, you should know that we have three subway stops very close; from line 1 (Glòries or Marina) and line 4 (Bogatell). In addition, we also have the Arc del Triomf train station a little over 10 minutes on foot.
Our hostel offers you the possibility to know Barcelona in another way … on wheels! Our city is not as big as other European cities, so it will be very useful and practical to rent bicycles and discover more than 172 km of bikeway available in our city.
And don’t miss the free routes we organise with other hotel guests. You’ll see everything!
Also, if you are looking for more activities to enjoy the outdoors in Glòries, our neighbourhood, you can check this post where we remind you some of the attractions that are organised in this renewed area; street and light shows, sports facilities open to the public or weekly markets. The only thing that you’ll need is enough time to discover everything!
We take care of the planet
If you are also a family that loves and respects the environment, you’ll love the philosophy of our eco hostel . We were the first tourist accommodation building in the city that has obtained the qualification in terms of energy efficiency and also we are members of Barcelona Sustainable Tourism. We are very proud to have several certifications and awards that honour our environmental commitment!
Our many actions to save energy and be more ecological include saving electricity thanks to the presence detector lighting, reusing water from showers and toilets for tanks, recycling waste and various systems for consumption optimisation, among other eco measures.
Immortalize your family with the best views
From the terrace of Twentytú you can enjoy amazing views of the city. From there you can see the city from the sea to the mountain, relax, enjoy different activities such as zumba classes, live musical performances, karaoke, barbecues and much more!
Don’t forget that in very few places you’ll find such an ideal place to take a selfie next to one of the symbols of the city, the Agbar Tower, which looks so awesome both day and night.
Barcelona, a city for everybody
If you come to Barcelona with children, you should know that it’s a city where the youngest of the house can enjoy many activities adapted to them. From educational like the dozens of museums all over the city, to monuments such as the Magic Fountain of MontjuÏc or the lions of the statue of Columbus, and magical places such as the Tibidabo amusement park or the Horta labyrinth. Surely they’ll love it!
However, there are many other ways to know Barcelona as a family; from the sea on oard of the boats called swallows, going on an excursion to any of the nearby mountains such as Montserrat or Tibidabo, or getting close to one of the many peculiar villages that are just over an hour by car like Camprodón, Calella de Palafrugell or Vilanova de Sau.
And if you’re worried about your pocket, remember that in the city there are many free activities that may interest you:
– Most cathedrals are open access and also some modernist buildings.
– Some bars serve free tapas.
– Many museums are free on the first Sunday of the month.
– The agenda of street shows, planned and spontaneous, is very wide. At every corner, you can find a surprise!
– Every month at least one of Barcelona’s neighbourhood celebrates its festivities and the streets are flooded with activities, workshops and concerts.
– Barcelona has more than 600 free Wi-Fi access points.
