About CaixaForum

CaixaForum is a social and cultural centre located at the foot of Montjuïc in one of the most important modernist buildings in Barcelona. It used to be a textile factory property of the businessman Casaramona, and Fundación “la Caixa” has turned it into a modern cultural equipment without ruining its original shape.

Open to all kinds of public, CaixaForum has become one of the most dynamic cultural spaces in the city. There you can visit temporary exhibitions of ancient, modern and contemporary art. Besides, Fundación “la Caixa”’s collection of contemporary art is one of the most relevant in Spain.

Its stable programme of concerts, cinema, conferences, scenic arts, literature, multimedia art and family events makes CaixaForum a reference site in Barcelona.
